• No criminal record
• Can balance a checkbook
• Some successful business experience
• No continuing business interests, or relationships, or aspirations
• Foreign experience; with a minimum one year living abroad, military experience not counting
• Understanding of the Constitution, and the limitations on government contained therein, and reasons therefore.
• Understands the inherent limitations of all political power and process; government cannot:
  • create prosperity, can only set the stage for prosperity
  • legislate success of any person or business
  • legislate equality, but only the opportunity for equal treatment of its citizens
  • (and it has a poor record legislating morality.)
• Does not seek political office for personal gain:
  • Worst abuse being amassing large cash war-chest
  • Gifts of unregulated, untaxed funds, free for personal use
• Does not seek advantage for friends, relatives, and associates
• Has no wish to create a full time or a permanent position in government

Dedicated to the general weal  of our nation

• Seeks to promote the maximum liberty and happiness for its citizens
• Doesn’t grant laws of privilege for in exchange for campaign contributions
• Doesn’t presume to know better than the free market
• And therefore dosent support laws granting subsidies for projects the general population does not wish
• Panders not to wishes of multinational corporations at the expense of its citizens
• Seeks to promote the general weal by laws based on  sound realistic policy.
